Blue Star is a registered non-profit, non-sectarian
organization dedicated to the development of human potential
at all levels - physical, mental, emotional, intellectual,
social and spiritual. It's programs are focused on self-empowerment,
total well-being and community service.
Blue Star Canada was founded by Sri Vasudeva in 1996
Aims
To awaken and develop the spiritual consciousness within the
individual, creating a more peaceful, loving and harmonious
world.
To provide an environment for holistic development
where the full potential of the individual can be realized
at all levels of being.
To engage in humanitarian service and in
preserving and enhancing our natural environment, recognizing
the Divine Principle existing in all of life.
Ideals
*The ultimate human experience is to realize the Divinity
within.
* The oneness of humanity, without distinction
of race, creed, colour, religion or nationality
* There is a universal, timeless, Truth
that underlies all faiths.
* Selfless service is service to the Divinity
that dwells within all.
It is in passing the light from one to
another that the spark can become a fire that can make a real
difference in co-creating the future of our world.
Blue Star Canada is a fellowship
that exists to inspire and empower people by lifting human
consciousness to greater levels of: self awareness, co-creativity
and responsibility. It is in developing ourselves in these
areas that we can co-create a more peaceful, harmonious and
progressive world. Blue Star's outlook is "holistic"
in order to develop the full potential of the "whole"
person, that is, to address the needs of each individual on
all levels of being: physical, mental emotional, intellectual,
social and spiritual.
When individuals unfold to their full potential, consciousness
expands and boundaries are transcended. This paves the way
for the building of community. Although the focus is on individual
self-development, Blue Star is essentially about serving community
because it is recognized that all life is interconnected and
each impacts on the other. The well-being of the one is important
to the well-being of the whole.
At Blue Star, we respect life
in all of its forms and, as such, seek to co-exist in harmony
with all of creation and to celebrate the diversity of the
world through the unity that heightened states of awareness
brings. Since this is a vision that encompasses all areas
